A magical night was had by all and I couldn’t be more grateful. For the past 4 years I have reached out to my community and they have stepped up and generously donated time, money, and resources for my annual fundraiser in support of Covenant House. This event has grown each year raising more money and more awareness leading up the the ‘Sleep Out’ which happens on November 15th.
We had the team from CH come down and share with our guests about the impact of Covenant House and it’s that impact on youth in our community that’s the reason I’m ‘sleeping out’. Simply put, so homeless youth don’t have to! I continue to be humbled by the opportunity to spend one night on the streets to help raise awareness and money.
By making a donation, you are helping to provide critical funds and awareness for the Crisis Program at Covenant House Vancouver.
Please help me do my small part to make sure the doors stay open for all those youth who need them. Please support me by giving generously! Click here to donate.
Here is a little re-cap of the night we celebrated. We were hosted at the elegant Kohler Signature Store which presented a lot of opportunities to have a little extra fun! Showers, toilets, sinks, kitchen…the perfect spot!
One of our biggest supporters providing amazing food for the last 3 years is Chef Colin Burslem and GM Patrick Gosselin from the Fairmont Vancouver Airport who this year, for the first time, cooked live as well as providing the traditional spread of charcuterie and desserts!
My dream was to have live music throughout the night and the talented Sean Bayntun volunteered his time to play on a $165,000 Fazioli grand piano that we brought in that morning…does it get more sexy than that??
I definitely couldn’t have pulled this night off without Lynn Gosselin who stepped up again to brilliantly coordinate an amazing night! Thank you Lynn!!
We had an overwhelming amount of giveaways provided by Wolf Clothing, Oxford and Kin, Tense Watches, MadLab Fitness, The Connection App, Nude Vodka, Kohler, Opus Hotel, Landeau Flowers, Moody Ales, Thomas DeShutter and Emil Clothing.
It’s important to recognize that all the costs of the night were donated by all our partners which allowed us to donate every penny to Covenant House! Well done everyone.
